The College Prep Academy is for the serious soccer player. This intensive 4-day camp brings some of the best talent from all across the nation together all looking for the edge to get to the next level. The mission of this academy is simple: provide every player with an unforgettable soccer experience that takes them to a new playing level. To help accomplish this, Darren Ambrose brings in a combination of elite college coaches and collegiate players. The primary focus will be on technical application, as technique is the foundation of all success. Campers will be introduced to the tactical side of the game and be afforded a firsthand glimpse into the possession type game that Penn prides itself on. It is our goal that every player leaves the camp with a feeling of accomplishment, a better understanding of the game, an intensified passion for soccer, as well as a better sense of the demands of the college game.

Features of this camp include a daily 7-a-side tournament (a camp favorite for years), speed and agility conditioning activities, team building activities, sports psychology and a seminar on the college recruitment process.

Teams are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our staff of college coaches will focus on the team and add daily team building exercises to promote team chemistry. The curriculum can be adjusted to meet team needs. Team coaches can attend for free with their teams.

This intense week of training and small-sided games focuses on skill development and decision making in a small group environment. Sessions will build quickly from technical repetition and skill development to dynamic games and exercises that will require decision making and execution of skills in match situations. Our daily 4-a-side tournament provides a competitive arena, as do evening games of 11 v 11 and 8 v 8. Competitive players aspiring to gain an edge in their development should attend this camp. Players will be challenged everyday and put into situations that allow them to test themselves in game conditions. Our evening program at camp will incorporate team building activities, including our camp favorite talent show.

Teams are highly encouraged to attend. Curriculum may be tailored to suit a team's needs and will be put together with the input of the coach. We are very proud of our player coach ratio of 8:1, as it guarantees individual attention and feedback for each player.

There are seven well maintained soccer fields available to the campers along with a swimming pool and a state of the art field house in case of inclement weather. Campers will have daily access to the pool as a form of R+R after a good day on the field! The campus also houses 15 tennis courts, a hockey rink and a 100 acre wooded tract.
