Summer Day Academy
The UPenn women’s soccer program would like to announce its girls’ summer soccer camp schedule!
2017 will offer three sessions hosted at Penn Park. The camp will be directed by Upenn head women’s soccer coach Nicole Van Dyke, Co-Director Jason Werner, UPenn assistant coach Melissa Phillips along with current and former student-athletes from the UPenn women’s soccer program.
The full day camp price includes: A 2017 Penn Soccer Academy camp t-shirt. The camps will be offered to GIRLS and BOYS, ages 5-13 (Kindergarten- 8th Grade), all skill levels welcome. The coaching staff will separate the players by age group and skill level accordingly.
The Day Camp is a weeklong program designed for the player wanting development of fundamental soccer skills. The staff creates an environment that promotes soccer confidence, enjoyment and good sportsmanship. We will provide instruction on a wide range of areas, including, but not limited to: dribbling, turns, shooting, passing, trapping, move development and introduction to small group concepts. Camps will include instructional, theme-based games, small-sided games and scrimmages each day. Camp favorites include our small-sided competitions, where players are grouped according to age and ability and compete in round robin “World Cup style” tournaments.

Half day options (9am-12pm; Monday-Friday) available for ages 3-5yr $180
*Adjacent to the Penn Park 240 S. 31st Street – crossroads are Chestnut and 31st.
In addition to the online registration, please complete this Parent Permission Form and bring it to check-in. This is required to participate in any camp activities.

9:30-10am: Footwork/Technical Skills
10:00-11:00am: Group Circuits/Stations
11-11:15am: Snack Break, Trivia, Competitions & Demonstrations
10:15-11:50am: Small Sided Games
11:50-12:00pm: Review & Reminders
1:00-2:00pm: Videos & Indoor activities
2:00-2:30pm: Group Warm-Up and Skills
2:30-3:45pm: Scrimmage-World Cup Tournament
3:45-4pm: Review and Conclusion
